A joystick that meets your thumb, not the other way around
Small change, big difference on a phone screen: the joystick on Pong Panic’s controller no longer lives in a fixed spot in the middle of the screen.
Instead, wherever your thumb first touches down becomes the stick’s center. Lift and touch again anywhere else, and that’s the new center. It’s the same trick fast-paced mobile games like Archero use, and it means you never have to look down to find the stick before a match — your thumb is already on it.
Under the hood: the base fades in right under your touch point and fades out on release, positioned with inline styles so it can’t drift out of place even if a stylesheet update lags behind. Same normalized input and update rate as before — just easier to grab.
